ONCE UPON AN ACCIDENT

"You have 5 cents left ma'am." The skinny looking receptionist said to me. How much could that buy?

"Give me chewing gum with it." I told him. My breath stank. I left my house without showering, or brushing my teeth as I only applied deodorant and rushed out of my house.

"Here you go." He said and handed me my bag.

"Thank you..." I looked at the name tag on his chest. "... Chris." I said and left the store.

I was suddenly craving Takoyaki, so I went to the store to get the ingredients to prepare it. Bianca wasn't talking to me, and I had nothing to do. I also didn't feel like going to work. After that conversation we had that night, we haven't spoken since then. Was she too busy to call me? Was she now engrossed in her new life that she forgot about me? I think she was still mad at me for what I said. What was I even thinking when I said that? I will call her when I get home and apologize to her.
