SOMETHING DIDN'T SEEM RIGHT! Nora screamed mentally.

From the way her father and Doris had spent the night together, they should be in a bubble of lovey-dovey sweetness today. But, for some reason, the atmosphere around them seemed to be even more frigid than before.

Was it really that difficult for two adults to love each other? Or was it just a both of them problem? Or had something gone wrong again?

Nora was curious to find out how the previous night had gone between her father and Doris. But it wasn't like she could ask any of them.

Frustrated, she drew in a deep breath and let it out and then shuffled into the main building with Squid tagging along.

Maybe she should just accept the fact that they would never settle their differences and be together. If only that was easy.
