"ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY NO WAY!" Brad spat before he spun on his heel and began to walk away.

Doris ran after him, grabbed him by the elbow, and pulled him back. "I mean, we're already here. We have to ride it."

"If you want to ride it so badly," he retorted. "Then be my guest. But you're not gonna do it with me."

She grabbed him again as he tried to leave. "But I can't do it alone," she said. "It's much more fun when you ride with someone."

Brad fixed a long, hard look on her, and then he shifted his gaze to the center of their difficulties.
