Chapter 55 A Sense of Vigor

Faye had extensive experience in wilderness survival.

Over the past few years abroad, she had had numerous close calls. So she was able to swiftly use her tool to free the driver's leg.

"Can you move?" Faye asked.

She watched the man struggle to shift his legs.

However, after a couple of attempts, he was drenched in sweat from the intense pain. He could barely stand, let alone assist in the rescue.

Faye immediately doused him with a bottle of mineral water, and another bottle on herself.

Unfortunately, her hair got singed in a few spots by the flames, emitting the smell of burnt protein.

But Faye disregarded this and retrieved a pill from her pocket. She then handed it to the man.

"Take this. We've got one minute. Each of us takes one person. Run as far as you can."

Saying so, she turned to pick up the elderly man and took off in a sprint—not even bothering to spare a glance at the man's face.
