When Giovana woke up, the sun had not yet risen. The day was slowly brightening outside. She got up slowly, this time feeling better, and went to the window. She pulled aside the curtains to watch the sunrise. He sat back down on the bed and stared up at the sky, which was gradually brightening and bringing the first rays to his face.

She closed her eyes and remembered Antony. She heard the door to his room open and then close. After that, there was a brief silence, and then his hurried footsteps moved away until she heard nothing more.
