Nathaniel Dave showered and changed into a new dress, he hates to sleep in the same house with Isabel, he could have just slept a night in the house but he wasn't willing. While he was walking out, his gaze met with the red cake that Isabel had baked for him.
If it was Cecilia that baked the cake, he would have eaten it gladly and bless her with something awesome in return. Redcake was one of his favorite. He walked to where the cake was placed and examined it as if he had a super power to confirm if the cake was poisoned or not.
He invited his driver inside and ordered him to carry the cake and place it inside the car, he would let his doctor examine it so he would know if his assumptions was right.
Nathaniel Dave only wanted to rest that night, since he arrived at one of his houses that was quiet a distance from the one that Isabel was, he didn't hesitate to have a good sleep.
