Irene gazed at Isabel in surprise, she was astonished that the the baby they had both being persuading to stop crying suddenly stopped crying in the arms of a little boy.
Isabel also glanced at Irene and went closer to where Ted sat, she sat beside him and saw that Minnie had already slept.
Just like that? She had done everything a mother could do to a baby to stop crying but Minnie never stopped crying only for her to stop crying in the arms of Ted.
"Ted, should Irene go ahead and lay Minnie on her bed?" Isabel questioned.
"Okay," he said and signalled for Isabel to carry the baby from him. Isabel collected the baby from him and gazed at her sleeping baby affectionately for a while before giving her to Irene.
Irene received the baby gently and carefully then went to place her gently on the bed.
Isabel could not place a reason behind what just happened. What was it about Ted that made her daughter stop crying?&n
