Cindy White POV
I turn around to see who had just called my name but it was too bad that it was not who I had expected, what was I even thinking. "Russeli." I flashed him a smile
He smiles and stepped close to me. "Are you going home right now?" He asked me.
"Yes." I nod, I think that it should be obvious since apart from hanging out with my two friends who were now watching fights, there should be only one place left to go, home.
"I will stop by the arcades to catch some fun before going home, will you come with me, I will take you home after the fun." He said with a cute smile.
I could see his two friends waiting for him at the corner and I know they will accompany him, not only that but thinking of Jeffer
Jeffery and Cindy sat down at lipazo restaurant eating the meal they have ordered. Jeffery stares at Cindy for a long time with a smile on his lips. "Were you jealous when I left earlier with Suzy?"Cindy looks up from her food and arches her brow. "Why should I be?" She could see Jeffery giggle, sure enough, he was loving her reaction. "When I smiled at Russeli, were you jealous?" She retorts."Yes," Jeffery said seriously and Cindy looks at his face. "I don't like you smiling at other boys."Cindy cleared her throat and averted her gaze. "Why are you saying and looking so serious like that?" She looks at him again."That is because I am serious, you are mine and mine alone." He told her and leans close to the table.Cindy rolled her eyes. "I am not yours, only I can own myself." She started eating again."And who are you to decide that?" He asked, leaning closer and Cindy look up at his face, she pressed down her lips as her eyes narrow down his lips,
"Marcus." Tears well up in Louisa's eyes as she looks at the tall, well-built man standing in her front, it has been ages since she had seen him, it brought sad memories to her."Lousia is this you." Marcus straight forth his hands and touched her face to confirm if it was real or his imaginations playing a trick with him."Marcus...Marcus." Lousia hugs him and he held her tight and close to him as tears also filled his eyes."Lousia, I have missed you." "Me too, I.miss you so much." Lousia closed her eyes as she left the warmth of his body to envelop her. They retired to a nearby cafe and sat down with two cups of coffee on the table, Marcus stare at Lousia who has her eyes on the coffee, like a guilty young lady."Where have you been?" Marcus asked her, breaking the silence when he knew it was getting awkward and he had to get her speaking."Things have been difficult Marcus." Lousia looks up at him with tears in her eyes. "My husband died and w
Cindy walked into class the next morning and the class was noisy, as people in the different group were talking, she put down her bag in the locker and walked over to her desk with her notebook."Cindy you missed," Kelly told her immediately she sat down. "The fight was so hot." "I can see that." Cindy placed her book. "So who won?" She asked indifferently, she was not interested in it, but to make her friends happy, she had to join the conversation."Mare looking you will know," Kelly told her and Cindy look around, she could see light bruises on few students face. "The troublemakers were the loser."Cindy looks at her friends, puzzled. "And who are the troublemakers?" She asked."You got eyes girl." Kelly looks in the opposite direction. "It is Elle and her group, Salsa was the winner," Janet told her.Suzy, can’t you see how bruised their faces are?” Belle said with a chuckle as she and Bella looked at the girls that were still talking a
Russeli and Cindy sat down in the cafeteria for lunch, Russeli had invited her to have lunch with him, as they eat their hamburger and soft drink, Cindy noticed Russeli staring at her.She knew she has to break the silence, she sips her drink and looks up at him. "Are you practising well?""In what?" Russeli looked puzzled by the question asked."Football match, you would be playing with Jeffery's team in Beckswood." She saw the expression on his face changed and she wonders if she had said something wrong."Do you think I don't stand a chance in winning?" Russeli asked her, for what its worth, he hope Cindy had not asked that question, she had watched several of his matches and she knew he always win.Cindy pressed her lips together and hesitated for a while before looking at him, there was no point in lying to Russeli. "To be honest with you, you probably don't." She looks at his eyes and she could see it shrunk.Russeli looked disappointed as he look
Cindy White PovThe school was over as students walked out of the gate, I was with my friends as we chitchat about the field trip on Saturday, we were all excited and even decide to go shopping the next day.I smiled when I saw Jeffery waiting by the gate, he must be waiting for me, I haven’t talked to him all through today, and by the way, we had great fun yesterday.I lift my hands to wave to him but put them down when I saw him staring in another direction, I turn my eyes only to see Suzy walking over to him.I have seen him stare at her in class after she had separated the mean girls, perhaps he was seeing her in a new light since there was a glint in his eyes."Jeffery!" I heard Suzy call out as she ran over to him.I and my friends were already close to them and Kelly had stopped to show Janet and me something, could be a list of things she wants to buy, but my focus wasn't there, I was just staring at Jeffery."Where have you been?" Je
"You want to get married?" I asked him with a thick voice. "You love someone?" I asked again and he closed his eyes momentarily."I know it is hard for you, but Cindy please understand." He opened his eyes and a surprised expression flashed through his face as he stares at my face.I was beaming as I nod profusely. "I love that dad!" I said in a rush and embraced him as I lean my head on his shoulder, smiling like a kid who just got her favourite doll."If you love someone then marry her, I will accept her as my stepmother, I want a mother too, a mother who will love me and who I will also love," I told him with humour.I had lost my mother when I was four years old and I have wished my father her married so that I would have a mother again, a mother that will cook for me and also attend shows with me, and a mother I will chitchat with, cause my father was so old-fashioned."You're not angry?" I heard his surprised voice and refrained from the embraced and l
I walked over to my friends after making sure that my tears were dried up, I wouldn't want them to suspect anything or ask me questions. If they should ask, what would I tell them, that I broke up with Jeffery? They will find it absurd since I never told them I was dating him in the first place."Cindy, did you see what you were looking for?" Kelly asked me when I approached her.I was thinking of an excuse for staying away too long, but here was one thrown at me."Yes have you seen the singlet?" Janet added and I looked at the both of them, the excitement of shopping was still on their faces. They were too busy when I left, they must have thought I went in search of a singlet.I forced a smile and shook my head gently. "I don't like the singlet anymore," I said softly and over to where my bag was. "Girls let's wrap it up," I told them after picking up my bag."Huh!" Kelly looked at me with a shocked expression. "Wrap what up?"I knew they wer
We arrived at the camping ground and everyone seems excited to be far from home and also to see a new scenario, I chat with my friends nonstop, trying hard not to think of anything else.I have not met with Jeffery after we broke up, I have looked away from him and he also seems to understand I meant what I said.I had seen him talking to Russeli, even when I didn't hear what they were saying, but I knew it was something serious caused their expression was hard and they were glaring at each other. He has also been with his friends and also talked to Suzy on the bus and when we arrived at the came, they had sat on the same sit in the bus too. They seem happy together, well I was not staring at them, I only happened to see him every time I look up, though he was not looking my way."Did you see that swimming pool?" Janet asked and I turn my attention back to my friends. "I can't wait to get into it." She hugs herself and smiles broadly. "It will be like heaven
