“Doctor, how is Cherry?” Maria asks.
“I am sorry for asking again-”
“Its okay doc-”
“I just need to confirm something because what I am about to discuss, a family member or spouse needs to be aware.” The doctor briefs her.

“What is your relationship with Cherry, Miss Santos? I know you are Mr Angelo’s close friend but I haven’t seen you with this young girl before.”
Maria was silent at first, she thought about what the doctor said relating it to herself. Rex is a very famous figure in the whole world which makes her popular naturally, but claiming to be a relative of Cherry’s will be difficult to prove. What if she denies it? Cherry had no family or friends of her own and the child growing inside her belly belonged to her best friend which makes her a relative of her. Maria soon decides on what path to stand for and she chooses Cherry.
