“Why does he keep doing this to me?” I asked myself. “I am totally affected by him and I know he knows it. He's just trying to get me to admit it but I won't–– I couldn't because I know I would get hurt.” I was standing inside the lady’s room, staring at my reflection in the mirror, remembering all that had transpired a few moments ago in the meeting with the board members. I was in there feeling nervous when I heard that revenue had dropped by two of our clients and it will continue to decrease if we lose more. This means that people, including me, will be out of work.
