In the middle of an expanse of land covered by grass of colorful wildflowers, a miracle happened.
A majestic silver building appeared, standing mighty on the water. The building emitted a white light that looked even brighter at night. When the gate made of glass opened, Odette, who had been fascinated by the building that seemed to float on the water, gasped.
“Let’s go.” Rion held Odette’s hand down the three glass stairs.
They walked towards the building by passing the courtyard made of glass. When Odette looked down, she could clearly see the clear blue water flowing under her feet. She even saw some beautiful fish swimming past her feet.
Had she not gone with Rion, perhaps she would have been confused about how to get into the building because she thought that before her was the sea, and there was no glass on it.
Odette turned to look
The sound of flowing water was so soothing. Odette still gripped Rion’s wrist tightly as she walked along the edge of the pond made of glass. She stopped when they reached the secluded side of the building. The place felt very quiet, yet calming, nothing could be heard other than the sound of water flowing because of the movement of the fish below.Trish watched them from a distance, but he was distracted by the sound of footsteps coming from behind. It was Levin.“Are you jealous, Trish?” Levin asked, much to Trish’s surprise.“What do you mean?” he furrowed his brows and asked back.Levin smiled sweetly like a girl.“Don’t you and the king have a special relationship all this time? Now the king has a wife, so you must be heartbroken,” he said shamelessly. Trish’s expression changed whil
“Mother...”Rion’s chest heaved up and down. In his dream, he replayed the night when his mother was killed to protect him.“Mom, don’t go! Don’t go there, Mom!” The sound of the rain muffled the voice of little Rion. He called out to his mother, who was walking towards the enemy and….Swooshh…BLARR!Under the dazzling lightning followed by an explosion of thunder that made the land shake, Rion saw dozens of arrows shot and pierced his mother’s body from head to toes. His eyes, that were forced to open in the pouring rain, could see the blood gushing out as soon as the arrows pierced Queen Ahana's body. His hazel’s eyes quivered.“Mother...” Rion’s tears flowed and Odette was surprised to see that.Rion was still dreaming. This time, he saw that his young self had just been thrown into a dark room. His face was covered in bruises. He shrank b
Odette followed Rion, Trish, and Roul to a place they called the training room. She felt a little less important being there, and she was getting a little bored listening to the men’s chatter. The double doors opened and her eyes opened wider, seeing a stretch of dry land with towering rock cliffs on various sides. When the door opened earlier, she could immediately feel the hot air touch her face.“This is…”She stepped to the edge as the three men walked forward and entered the area. Then, Odette stopped when they arrived at the bottom of a cliff.“We can start now, Your Majesty,” Roul said, and Rion gave one slow nod.“Wait, don’t we want to go to the training room?” Odette asked.“We’ve arrived,” Rion replied, leaving Odette in confusion. She glanced at the place. There was only a stretch of soil, rocks, and trees that had no leaves. "This is the place."&ldq
Lucifer glared at Trish hatefully. He was annoyed. He tried to free his trapped legs, but to no avail.Meanwhile, Odette let out a sigh of relief. She looked at Roul, who was crouching next to her with a fist hitting the ground. He created a large and long trench with just one hit. Thanks to that, Trish was saved and Rion was also saved from guilt.Odette focused on seeing Lucifer, who was trying to get his legs out of the dirt trap that Roul had made. Lucifer, who didn’t have much patience, got more irritated because his attempt was fruitless.“Tch. If I can’t get out of this, then I will just cut it off,” he said as he lifted his sword to cut his legs off, making everyone flabbergasted.“NOOO! DON’T DO THAT!” Odette screamed spontaneously.Lucifer’s movements halted. He turned and saw Odette running towards him with a worried face.“My duck?” He looked, looking confused for a mome
It had been an hour and Rion hadn't woken up yet. Lucifer was still taking control of his body.Trish and Roul, who had been standing under the shadow, continued to observe and watch Lucifer's movements warily."This is the first time the king has a relapse this long," Trish muttered. Usually, if Rion had a relapse and was taken over by his other personality, it would only last a few minutes, not last for hours.Lucifer still hugged Odette and never let go of her for a second. He felt that if he let go of Odette, the girl would run away from him and he could not reach her anymore. Just like Rose, who had left him and was out of his reach. The fear made him stay awake and try hard to take over the body longer."Odette..." After a long silence, he finally spoke again. His eyes were downcast, looking gently at Odette, who had been looking up at him while blinking occasionally."I love you."Odette was stunned to hear his words.Wh
In the capital of Naturi, the mass murder of several families was being carried out by the royal knights."P-please forgive us. What did we do wrong?" A man and woman were crawling backwards with their two small children. In front of them was a knight in full pledge armor."Your only mistake is because you are the citizens of Panthera," said the knight, and he slaughtered them to death.Outside, the man who was the head of the family fell to his knees as soon as he was stabbed in the stomach with Adriel's sword. The mass murder of Panthera citizens living in the capital city of Naturi continued. They were killed just because they were Panthera citizens, even though they had lived in Naturi for years in peace. They didn't know the reason they were killed. All the Naturi citizens also asked the same thing. Because as far as they knew, Panthera and Naturi had a good relationship, so there was no reason for King Elbert to kill Panthera citizens
More and more people were coming to the palace. When they received the news of what had happened in Naturi, they felt anxious about the fate of their families who were there. They came to ask for help so that their family could be sent home. The sun had risen, and people were still coming, making the same request. News of the mass murder of the Panthera citizens in Naturi spread quickly. The sound of crying and pleading filled the palace halls before their attention was distracted by the arrival of the king, along with the four people who followed him.An old woman approached and knelt at Rion’s feet.“Your Majesty, please save my children. My three children are in Naturi. Please take them home,” she cried.“Stand up, Auntie.” Rion grabbed the woman’s shoulders and helped her up.“Whether you beg or not, I will definitely take them home because they are my people,” he smiled, then he walked tow
Rion didn’t show any mercy on the enemy. It was the result of his grandfather, King Roland’s upbringing. Instantly, blood filled the palace courtyard. Not far from him, Trish was dancing with his sword, knocking out all the knights that attacked him in seconds. The bats and other creatures that had been flying around the palace swooped down on them. They joined in the lively atmosphere.Roul smacked a pterosaur-like creature until it flew far away, while Levin threw a large Thunderball at a swarm of bats that swooped down on them. In seconds, the bats disappeared into nothingness.Next to him, Kaven was pointing his palm in the air, then the swarm of bats being sucked into the white hole in his palm. He sent the bats to the sea bottom of Pradis Beach.TAP! TAP! TAP!A creature’s footsteps shook the ground, and Aego appeared from behind
