Everyone glared at Vicky as she walked over to Tyler and looped her arm around his.

Vicky sighed and said, "Honey, you don't think my request is a bit too much, right? They would have really taken me for a thief if you had come any later… What if they called me a thief today and a bandit tomorrow? Then who's to stop them from calling me a murderer in the future?"

A thought seemed to pop into her head as she continued, "Honey, no matter how much we fight, it's between the two of us and has nothing to do with them. But you're the CEO of Hart Corporation, a powerful person… And yet, your wife is being labeled as a criminal by all these random people… Tell me, are these people really your friends? Or maybe, they never liked you?"

Tyler's expression became serious. He gazed down at Vicky. She was smiling at him sincerely, and yet, her eyes were sparkling mischievously. She did not hold back from trying to cause a rift between Tyler and the others. Her words offended everyone there but s
