Emma,

We arrived at my parent's home, and I was nervous. I dreaded what my father and mother would say. I knew I had a lot of apologising to do, and I hoped, for my sake, it would be easy. After I got back on my feet, I promised my family I would not look back. I promised them I won't think of Luca again, but here I was. I knew they would be disappointed in me.

Lacy sensed my mood, and she linked me to calm down. The moment we stepped out of the cab, a lot of the people on the street stopped to stare at us. I knew it was because they could sense the presence of a true Alpha. I smiled. Lacy carried Katya and went up the stairs to our balcony. Tevin walked out of the front door, and I wondered why he wasn't at the supermarket.

"I did not know you were home," I said to him, and he smiled at me. We hugged, and he greeted Lacy, ushering her into our home. My mother and Leana were home, and Tevin told Lacy our father was on the way.

"Where are Bruce and Gilbert?" I asked Tevin.
