CHAPTER CLXVI: MY LOVE
Angela's POV
The tears that I've been holding back began streaming down on my face the moment that I stepped out of the Queen's palace. I tried to wipe my tear-stained face but then new tears continue cascading down like they would never stop.
I remembered what just happened. The queen tried to pay me One hundred million just to stay away from Lucifer. She thought that I'm only after their wealth. That hurts a lot. I already knew from the start that she doesn't like me but it's still heartbreaking to know that she thinks that low to me.
I never aimed for Lucifer's wealth. It never crossed my mind to even use him for me to be rich, I never wanted that. All I ever wanted was to fulfill my dreams and my parents' dreams for our family.
I was just walking and walking while sobbing, my vision started to blur because of the tears so I just decided to sit on a nearby bench. I feel so low. Why do people always think that poor people only wants money
