CHAPTER LXIII: GOODBYE ONCE MORE

Angela’s POV

We are now standing outside Lucifer’s house, waiting for his helicopter to come.

Lucifer hasn’t talked to me since we ate. I think he got really disappointed because of what I have said to him earlier.

“Lucifer.” I tried to call him but he didn’t look at me and just kept on scrolling on his phone.

“I-I’m really sorry about what I said earlier. I didn’t mean to make you feel bad and think that I’m not happy being with you again.” I looked down. “I’m really happy to be with you again and.. I-I also missed you…”

I don’t know whether he heard what I said or he just chose to ignore it but I looked at my feet and played with it when Lucifer suddenly put his arm around my waist and pulled me close to him.
