Brothers Betrayal

He doesn’t want to go, he doesn’t want to see Anais, and trying to find Belial means risking seeing her. Pacing the floor, he begins to worry.

Maybe Belial’s silence is because Anais is dead? He could check, but even trying to focus on her and hear her will push him back there.

“Lucifer.” His head snaps up at the woman before him.

“Who the hell are you, and how did you get in here?” She is mortal. How the hell did she get in here and know about him? Panic rises as he considers if Anais has sent her.

“I was told I am the messenger. The first two hid because the message would lead to you killing them. The second two sent me through fear you would kill the messenger.”  

Lucifer looks at her, sickened. Anais is dead. Why else would those he sent fear giving him an update?

“What is the message?” He steps towards her as her body tries backing up, his eyes watching as she shakes
