CHAPTER 80 - Insults

  Frustration burned through me when my subordinate reported Lea’s movements. The very day she’d left my pack, she went to Erick’s pack. She waited till late that night and snuck out of the apartment I’d rented for her.

   I was a fool to believe that she was innocent and felt guilty as hell; Aria had been right about her from the beginning but I was too blind to see what was right in front of my eyes.

  It had been two weeks since my father started giving our pack members a daily vitamin supplement.  As soon as Aria got involved with the supplement, I was sure there was something fishy about it. As always I was left in the dark and knew nothing about it.  I tried to find out more from my father but he replied in riddles, confusing me. Aria wasn’t talking to me and that frustrated me even more.

  Why was everyone keeping me out of important matters? Wasn’t I supposed to be the next Alpha? What gave them the right to exclude me like that?
