"No...It can't be..." shaking my head and denying this outcome. "But then, how come you are here? How can I see you? How can you stop Hexia from gaining my pearl?"

"Before I cast the forbidden spell that destroyed Demir, I left some of my essences to you. I may be gone, but as long a part of me is in you, I can help you until it is time to leave you."

I snap my head. "You were that voice. The one that I keep hearing."

Mom smiles, admitting it.

"You've been with me all this time," I inhale sharply. "I thought I was being hysterical and hearing voices, but you are real. Alive! Well, not physically, but here you are."

I watch my Mom giggle as I freak out, but I'm glad to see her and not in one of my dreamlands.

The ground suddenly shakes, almost causing me to stumble. "What's going on?"

"We don't have much time," Mom flashes in front of me. "Hexia is using all her magic to break through the barrier I've cast. That bitch is very impatient. I can see why your father finds her annoying."
