My mind has already fried with all that thinking. My mother has so many aliases that I don't even know her true name.

How many names does my mother have?

"I didn't believe Merkon when he told me that a woman in white destroyed my army in one move," Demir grunts. "You ruined everything!"

"Now it's time to ruin you!"

"No!"

Demir roared out a pleading howl, and the last thing I saw was the smile on my mother's face as her magic submerged and then exploded, creating a rain of falling magic dust. I don't see my mother's or Demir's body.

I dropped down to my knees as a warm tear fell from my eyes. My mother sacrificed herself again, and I will never see her again.

Then the Blue Moon pack gates opened, and Alpha Marcus stepped out with a few wolves behind him.

"Are you sure there was a woman here?" He asks the guy behind him, and he sounds agitated.

"Yes, Alpha, the woman told me she needed shelter because something was chasing her. Oh, and she was with her child." Says the voice on the mic,
