"Sorry I'm late," Austin announced as he strutted in, with his head held high with his hands in his pant pockets. "I could barely get back through the door with the number of reporters swarming the place. You’d think the freaking Queen of England was here!” He walked over to the summit committee and began shaking hands.

Austin found himself questioned about his presence at the summit meeting instead of their Beta, Alex. He calmly explained that Alex was missing and as the Aloha’s son he was stepping in for him in order to ensure that the important matters of the meeting were still addressed. Austin knew it was crucial for the pack to stay informed and up to date on any developments affecting them, and he was more than willing to do his part as a loyal member of the pack. The other members of the summit nodded in agreement, showing their appreciation for his dedication and loyalty to the pack but they still were secretly displeased as they were accustomed to only working with the Alpha
