Aria pov.

I still couldn't believe that my brother was standing right in front of me. I kept looking at his eyes, which were like deep pools of brown that I could easily get lost in. There was a strange connection between the two of us, but if he was really my brother, then why didn't he want anyone to know he was alive?

Just hearing the story that my mom had told me a long time ago about him made it all feel surreal. She had asked him to run, but he had never been found until now. But here he was, standing right in front of me.

"If you're really my brother, why didn't you tell me last night?" I asked him, but he just smiled at me, placing his hands in my hair and looking at me, then at Mom, who was behind my back.

"I didn't want to put our family at risk. I was waiting for the right time to tell everyone," he explained.

I could see how soft he was, and just then, I noticed something in his hands. "Why are you holding an axe?" I asked him, and he looked up at me, still smiling.
