Chapter 49 Triumph and the Price of Defiance

Alpha continued running, his paws pounding on the ground making the trees shudder around him. It was still daytime and the sun was shining brilliantly as Alpha moved to satisfy his thirst for blood and flesh.

The patrol wolves were standing their ground, on their duty. They saw Alpha approaching from the distance and one of them shifted into his human form and went forward to meet Alpha, to give him his reports. But Alpha didn’t care about any reports, he wanted to see heads mounted on sticks.
