C H A P T E R 43

Xavier

The night is in its deepest slumber, spaces are quiet and lights are dying out. The only thing the night and Xavier has it the same is none. He was wide awake, mind deep in thought grumbling and stumbling over thoughts and thoughts. His mind is a mess and he can't sleep.

For the past long hours, he just sat on the edge of the bed letting your words eat him. He feels guilty or he's beyond that.

His hair is on unto different directions, tousled everywhere after gripping and tugging on it so many times before. His lips are swollen after biting unto them and his face is flushed from running his palms unto it a couple of times.

Looking at the clock, it's past one in the morning. Xavier glance at Krystal's sleeping form and he sees her tuck comfortably on the sheets, eyes tightly close, hair sprawled wide on the pillow and she's breathing evenly.
