Part 14 # The Raid

CLANG!

Another bullet whizzed past, but this time, it hit the staircase railing leading into the pool.

Luckily, Arren managed to dodge it. She immediately ducked and crawled behind some rocks not far from the pool.

Shouts from the guards alerted her to the sudden attack.

Initially, Arren was still frozen after witnessing the girl she had been with suddenly collapse, bleeding heavily.

"Eleven o'clock!" one of the guards shouted, trying to identify the source of this sudden attack.

Following his comrade's guidance, another guard rushed in that direction. Their footsteps echoed up to the rooftop directly facing the hill.

BANG!

A return shot was fired toward the hill after a guard spotted a suspicious figure.

Some of the guards headed toward the base of the hill. They are going to catch the attacker directly.

Tensions dominated that tragic night, and Arren seemed to vanish from the rocks. She briefly sought refuge there before being secretly evacuated by the guards.
