“It's not, give in Ruth,” he persuaded her into accepting, she pushed him and mouthed some gibberish, and all of a sudden she was mute.

“Ruth?“ He called out to her but received no response, he realized that she had fallen asleep. He shook his head and took off her shoes, and he went to the bathroom and brought a bowl containing water and a cloth, he cleaned her face and hands.

The next day, Ruth woke up late, her head was throbbing hard. “Huh,” she groaned, she held her head in her wincing in pain.

“That's what happens when you drink too much,” She heard a familiar voice from behind her, startled, she jumped and tried to move back, but she fell off the bed with a thud.

“What in heaven's name are you doing on my bed? Don't tell me you spend the night in my house?“ She yelled, her head clicked, she checked herself and only calmed down when she realized he hasn't touched her.
