It was almost noon, and it was bored at home. All I was thinking about was how to get this other girl who looked like Beth, but when Sarah told me some weeks away that Lilian was dead.

I had no idea how to feel or what to do about it, and I wonder if I would get another mate. Perhaps if I had already gotten another mate.
