Beth's Point Of View.

I looked at Lilian with my eyes widely open in despair. Several thoughts ran through my mind as I stared blankly at her.

Could that be true? Will I die for real this time? Why did the Moon Goddess keep me alive to this moment, then? Is it to be killed by my long-lost sister?

Of course, that's it. Why would else she had kept me alive until now?

Slowly, I rose to my feet and dragged my feet into the room.

“Beth?” I heard Isabel called out to me softly in a confused tone.

This case of merging is settled already, I already know who has the strength to live it through.

I sank myself on the bed, staring blankly at the wall when Isabel stepped into the room. She leaned against the door for a moment before walking further into the room. She sat beside me and threw her arm around my neck, pulling me in a hug.

“Everything is going to be fine. I'm sure that Lilly will find a way around this.” She tried to console me in a soothing tone, but it won't work.
