We Push Together

Lillian's POV.

It was time for me to use my powers again. I signaled to Marcus and Isabella to leave while I took care of the mess. With a swift speed, they made a beeline to the woods while I sat on the couch with my posterior facing the door.

I heard the door open and footsteps approached me.

“Who are you?” A male voice who I know would be Alex's asked.

Hearing his voice increased the rage and revenge in me, I wished I could slit his throat at that moment and end everything, but I needed to find Beth first, and he's the key.

“I said who are you? How come you don't have any scent?” He yelled, though he tried to keep his voice firm, I could hear the slight quivering lips that accompanied his question.

“Your worst nightmare, Alex.” I chuckled aloud in a weird way. “And you, Sarah, you're a disgrace to your pack.”

With this, I sprinted out of the house. Thanks to my special ability, nobody in the Pack, except for Beth, can meet my speed, and this saved me today.
