    I was really getting good at all my training requirements. Finding, 'I love you' in a tree in less than a mili-second, elevating that swimming pool without much effort, and the rest. Luca had this stoic expression when I did it all. 

I had smiled to myself, knowing he was definitely wearing a mask to cover it up. When I walked up to him, he made brought a hand forward.

“Congratulations, on passing the first trial,” he said, bringing his hand forward. I shook his hand with a startled expression on my face. 

“Wait, there are other trials?” I asked, arching a brow at his words. Luca, with an amused expression on his face, nodded a yes.

With that, I knew I was fucked big-time.

“Come with me,” he said, dragging my hands forward. My wolf distracted me by purring softly at our mate’s proximity towards us.
