"AAH!" A cry escaped from Skyla's lips when the door was opened by someone suddenly from outside as Skyla attempted to break the door by slapping her body against it. Her swinging body fell on a hefty and warm body of someone. On the onset of the cold breeze that was brushing against Skyla's face messing with her hair, she felt warmness as she had her head against someone's broad chest and someone's arms were wrapping her tightly. Skyla brought her left hand to her face, to shove the strands of her hair that were sprawled on her face, blocking her view. Tucking the strands behind, she opened her eyes that went wide instantly on seeing a broad, muscular chest signifying that it was some male werewolf that she has tumbled into. Skyla's breaths intensified and her lips went apart as she thought, scared, "Oh no! Oh Goddess!"Slowly, she ran her eyes above to have a look at his face. Her face got squeezed out of fear on seeing a pair of blue eyes shining over her. The werewolf had should
A pair of werewolves bobbed their heads and hurried to open the warehouse shutter. Nothing was visible to Skyla and thus out of inquisitiveness, she asked Jack, "Jack, what's happening?" With his gaze still transfixed at the scene happening on the left, he whispered, "They have opened the warehouse and they are getting the oil drums outside."The chief could be heard shouting at the workers, "Hurry up! We need to deliver 14 oil drums before dawn! Come on!" The workers could be seen moving in and out of the warehouse. They went empty handed inside the warehouse while returned with the drums carried and placed outside near the truck. Tumbling his head inside, Jack said fervently, "I need to sneak you inside quickly!" As he was about to switch his gaze from Skyla to the truck, something caught his attention. Leaning behind Skyla, he hurriedly grabbed the knife and said, "Hey! You cannot forget this!" He pulled Skyla's hand and placed the knife on it. Eyeing Skyla with concern, he sai
"Okay, buddy! We are leaving!" One of the werewolf workers said and gave a warm hug to Jack before leaving. Jack flashed a fake smile and waved him goodbye. Once all the four werewolf workers were well assembled in the truck, the truck left. With its engine roaring, it went bumping down the narrow, uneven path. Jack had his gaze transfixed at the tailgate he had just closed. He dug his hands inside his pants pockets as he let out a long, audible sigh that was a mix of relief and tension. Jack was relieved that their plan was going in the flow but he was tensed at the same time as to whether the plan will be fully implemented in the right way or not! It was just Jack in the out area of the warehouse. He said to the truck that was going far and far away from him, "I hope everything goes well! Skyla looks like an innocent she-wolf and I don't want her to fall in trouble!" His seamless gaze at the truck was broken by his ringing phone. Taking out his vibrating phone from the pocket, he
"AAHHH!!" Skyla screamed in pain on the sudden fall down the slope that was dotted with bushes, gravels and stones. Skyla had the lower half of her body stuck inside the drum which served as a protection layer against the rough path she was rolling onto. Skyla propped her arms in the back of her head to protect her head from the sharp stones that were coming on the path. Her arms were badly bruised and she would let out intermittent painful cries when she was met with the sharp stones that would slit her soft and sensitive skin of her hands and also her facial skin. She made sure to keep her eyes tightly shut to prevent any foreign object from going inside her eyes. Her lips were tightly shut that would involuntarily open when she would encounter anything harsh on the uneven sloping that was not ready to stop. The slope had intermittent bumps in them that would led Skyla to slightly jump and land ahead in pain. Skyla was not in the position to open her eyes and see how long was the
Skyla spun around, her wide eyes examining the deserted forest. It was lush with greenery. It would surely have been a pleasant sight if the forbidden rule was not applied to it. But having realized that Skyla had just fallen into the mouth of death, Skyla felt her world crashing down just the way she fell from the small narrow hilly path above. The first thought that crossed Skyla's mind was finding a way to escape from this Forest of Death. So, she inclined her head above, her eyes gaping at a good distance from where she fell. Seeing the safe zone from where she fell a good distance away from her made her gasp, "Oh no! HOW DO I GET BACK?"Slowly her eyes travelled down, tracing the rough, scratchy path she had rolled upon making her cry in pain and whip her body with bruises. She had an idea if she could climb to the top but seeing how steep the path was, it wasn't possible to climb her successfully without falling back!A question popped in Skyla's mind and she worded it, "But wh
Skyla realized the more she went inside the Forest, the scarier it was getting. The vibes were tainted with darkness and it was more chilly inside making her develop chattering teeth. Skyla passed a deep glance at the path ahead in the forest that was dotted with so many trees. Her squinty eyes grew teary on seeing the path to be never-ending. Skyla was utterly scared that she could no longer hold her sobs. All this while, she tried to stay strong and battle with her tears but now it was getting difficult. She prayed to the Moon Goddess, her hands detaching the overcoat and joining against each other, "Oh Moon Goddess! Please save me! Where have you put me? I want to LIVE! Why can't I LIVE in peace?!" Her complaint escaped from her trembling lips out of the extra chilly weather. She gaped at the path that she had trailed from behind. Her eyes got doleful on noticing that she had hardly crossed the forest territory. Toppling her head back at the front, Skyla sobbed, "I haven't even m
Skyla wiped off her tears and tried to be as cold as possible. With an angry voice, she warned, "Ruby, this is the right time, I am summoning you! Show up! SHOW UP!!" Skyla raised her voice and waited for a few seconds but in vain. Again, there came no response. Skyla blew out a sadistic sigh on realizing her wolf was badly injured from the slaughter they had last time by Max and Whitney. She wasn't getting enough time to heal. Unlike previously wherein Skyla would feel Ruby groaning in pain, this time she couldn't even feel that. It felt as if her wolf died, the scariest thought that any werewolf would get. Skyla blew out a long sigh and her figure took a slouching form signifying that she had accepted her defeat. She was no longer going to call Ruby because it was futile. Skyla stood there completely helpless. Shuddering because of the cold weather, she tried to calm her mind down to figure out what should be done next. She said to herself, "Stopping here won't help me! I can't
At first Skyla couldn't believe what she was seeing. Skyla closed her eyes for a brief second and shook her head before peeling them open to see if what she was gaping at was correct. She blurted out in disbelief, "Bl… blood?! H… hand?!" Skyla's blood ran cold and her mind went numb on seeing the hand coated with blood and bearing long nails locking her leg. It took a few seconds for her to absorb that what she was seeing was reality. On the sudden realization, Skyla dragged herself away as she screeched in fear, "Aahhh!!! Leave me!"But the hand wasn't ready to let go off the grip and kept on exerting pressure. It was no longer just locking her leg but also sending pain to it. Skyla felt someone was situated underground because the hand was popping out from the heap of dry leaves of the trees. Skyla could have cleared off the leaves that were now tainting with blood as the blood spurting out of the hand started dripping over the leaves around. The sight was too disgusting and Skyla
