Chapter 86

Raquel:

We set the trap for Audrey, but it was shocking that she was nowhere to be found. Leo and I were worried and at the same time scared she might have figured out about our plan.

"Did you implant the bomb?"

"Of course I did, Leo. I'm not a kid."

I paced to and fro around the house thinking. I was damn scared because I was certain Audrey would never let me go after what I did. I killed our parents cold bloodedly.

"What should we do?" I asked Leo.

"What else, forge ahead with the next plan. Get dressed, we need to start leaving if we don't want Audrey to find us here."

"You coming with me?"

"Of course. I'm not gonna stay behind and wait to be roasted alive."

I ran upstairs and hurried to get my bag and some other things I would be needing along the way while Leo went to get the car ready.
