Chapter 63

"Oh, how wonderful that you two have a pup together. And she's beautiful," I complimented the couple, who had just a pup, and I was the one who brought their precious little one from the infirmary.

The two smiled together as they softened upon seeing their baby pup.

"She is indeed a beautiful one. Thank you, Meredith."

Smiling, I bestowed them some privacy while my heart ached for my three children waiting at home. But I had to endure it since, in less than two days, we were going to arrest the three leaders, and we would also include Marcus in the process.

Alucard told me the plan, but it was only said in a letter, not mind-linking to discuss the things. He made sure that they were detailed, and I was left with no choice that I couldn't ask him anymore.

He made a plan that was so perfect and unscathed. It made me awe, and it was quite frightening that Alucard had already prepared them in advance.

All I could do was to be a passerby and watch all things unfold before me.
