"So, when is the wedding?"

I looked at Jaromir in disbelief before I threw the crumpled parchment in his direction while he was here to visit me in the shop since he learned that Alucard and I had been dating again. As soon as he paid a visit, that was the first thing he uttered with a sheepish smile plastering on his lips.

"What?" Jaromir asked teasingly while drinking some jasmine tea before carefully putting the teacup in the saucer. "Does this mean that Alucard hadn't proposed yet, hmm?"

Rolling my eyes, I signed the last documents Expert had shown me. Then, my attention was pierced by him. "We are taking steps at one time, Jaromir. Don't make haste." I scoffed.

But on a serious note, I was the only one who wanted to take things slowly between us. I knew that I wanted to rekindle our mate bond, but we hadn't done the mating ritual again nor even performed sleeping with each other.

I told Alucard I wasn't prepared to share the same bed with him again. And he was patient
