*****Elvira's POV*****

"Just relax and try not to dwell on it too much, everything will be fine," my mum repeated when I mentioned the passing of the Lycan queen again.

Her departure was so heartbreaking, a moment etched in my memory forever, one that I could never erase. The Lycan Queen sacrificed herself to protect me, a moment that felt both unreal and deeply moving.

My mum ran a hand through my hair, as if to pull me out of my train of thoughts. I flashed a small smile in her direction and relaxed again on the bed.

My dad smiled when our eyes met as well.

"Elvira, everything that has happened so far, is for a good course." He said and I blinked. A good course? And someone lost their life?

"I know you must think I'm not making any sense, but the moon goddess doesn't want you dead just yet, or else, the stab on the hearing day would have ended you. Forget the Chandelier." Dad reasoned and I began to see the meanings attached to his words.
