*****Elvira's POV*****

The kiss lasted for a few minutes and Zayden pulled away to look at my face, he smiled at me and then pulled me in for a bone crushing hug.

"Thank you, El." He whispered and I smiled. "I felt so bad earlier, but I'm fine now."

I smiled and held onto him tighter, "I'm glad I could make you happy." I said in return and pulled away to stare at his devilishly handsome face.

He watched my face for a brief moment before he frowned deeply, his gaze trailed from mine to look around the forest.

"Zayden, what is wrong?" I asked him and he placed a hand on my lips.

"Someone is here and they've been watching us." He said.

Fear gripped me instantly at those words. Someone was in the forest with us?

"What if it's the guards?" I asked, but he shook his head and pulled me off him, "Definitely not the guards." He responded and got up from the bench.
