Her Pleas, His Promise
As soon as Roseanne enters her chamber that evening, she collapses on the bed. Her muscles are aching and she is tired from the training. Polina is a strict trainer and her magic spell is hard to break. Roseanne tried everything she could to overcome the spell but it was of no use. Her head was not working and there really was no way to finish the race.
How did the other girls do it? She wonders. Roseanne asked a few of them and they simply said it took them a lot of training. They pitied her state and told her it will get better over time.

The ball is going to take place that night and the tailor claims he made a dress befitting for their beloved Duchess.“My Lady, are you in there?” Aria asks, knocking on the door again. She has put on a little makeup but it amplifies her beauty. Her cheeks are blushing a sweet rosy colour while her amber eyes are sparkling under the golden lights. She is wearing a gown with a long wine colored bodice. The neckline is embroidered with rubies shaped like roses, diagonally stitched by hand and reaching from her front to her back. The upper corset hugs her body, showing off her slim figure while the amber shaded skirt is fuller with long folds which flow loosely around her feet. The folds are tied to the back, creating a series of rose shaped folds which make the back skirt fuller with emphasis on her tiny frame. The moon has risen directly above the snow clad mountains, shining over the dark sky. It is flickering behind the clouds, a storm starting to swirl around the area. A cold wind is blowing by, making the lone man shiver. He is standing at the foot of the mountain, pacing back and forth.“Where the hell is that woman?” Stefan snarls. He licks his tobacco stained lips in lust. His memories of the past few days are hazy. Ever since he lost Roseanne at the auction, he has been furious.The days following the auction are a blur to him because he is obsessed with the thought of claiming that girl for himself.
