127. "A way Out?"

Olive’s POV

After stepping into my room, I made it clear to everyone that they should stay out until I gave the signal.

I settled down on the bed, spending several minutes lost in deep thought about Aaron's scheme to bring Griffin into his castle as a doctor.

"Why would he go to such lengths?" I wondered aloud.

Could it be that he brought Griffin here to help me recover my lost memories?

Or does he suspect that Griffin was the one who imprisoned me in the cabin?

Regardless of the truth, I must proceed with caution. Aaron must never discover the truth, or else Griffin's safety will be at risk!

"But what about Griffin's assurance?" I whispered. He had promised to rescue me from this castle in no time. How does he plan to accomplish that?

Knock. Knock. Knock. Knock.

Out of nowhere, I heard thudding sounds coming from my room's window.

What could that be?

Was the wind blowing fiercely outside?
