82. "New Life in Aaron's Castle"

Olive’s POV

My 18th birthday is coming, and I will celebrate it in Aaron’s castle, where I was held as a captive in the past.

It felt odd to celebrate my coming of age with the people who despised me a lot before. But now, there was a big change in my life together with those people.

“Olive, can you pass me the gloves?” asked Grandma Abuela.

“Yes, Grandma! Wait a minute!” With a smile, I passed her the gloves.

Abuela looked at my face and frowned. “You’re sweating too much. Was working under the sun hard? You should go and rest for a minute.”

I chuckled and replied,” How can I do that when you’re working so hard like this? I wanted to help you.”

Abuela smiled at me and tapped my head.

It felt so new. It hasn’t been that long since Abuela cursed at me for killing her granddaughter. But now that she learned that I was innocent, she treated me so sweetly.

I lost my grandmother. She lost her granddaughter. It was as if we found solace with each other to fill the void of affection
