CHAPTER SIXTY-NINE

Nick and I rode in silence towards my father's mansion. I was feeling conflicted about my decision to go back, but I knew I had to do it to end things once and for all. Nick tried to convince me otherwise, telling me it was too risky, but I insisted that I needed to do this to move on with him.
