Chapter 15: Wrong Presumption

Katerina couldn't count how many minutes she cried inside her father's hug. She just noticed another set of arms encircled around them followed by a little sobs—it's her mother, Felice. For the first time in forever, she felt content and comfortable inside her parents' arms.

"I couldn't wish for anything else now that both of my lovely ladies are here with me. I will die without any regret…"

"Dad!"

"Hon!" She and her Mom chorused that earned a chuckle from her Dad.

"Kidding. Why are you both crying when I'm a lot stronger than a buffalo?" Eduardo bluffed and even showed off his imaginary muscles to them.

"I love you, Dad."

"I love you too hija."

After a few minutes, she gave way for her father to rest again. Her mother stayed with her dad while she made her way to the doctor's office who was assigned to her Dad.

"I—I'm sorry but can you repeat it Doc?" She requested as she felt like Dr.Gonzales' statement was deafening her.
