Emily is here already?

“Emily?” I called out. The tent cover rose and she stepped in, bowing softly.

“My Alpha.”

I stepped out of my chair immediately and hugged her. The scout captain excused himself and left us.

“You got here so quickly. How fast is your horse?”

As fast as my desire to be with you.” She flattered me most sweetly, letting me kiss her cheek.

“I missed you,” I said, pressing her onto my muscular chest.

“I missed you too, but we have no time for this. The enemy is already at our doorstep.”

I agreed, letting her out of my arms and I noticed she was already in her armor.

“Here is where the enemy is, you said that we could still do something about it.”

“Yes, I did. Have you ever played hide and seek?” She asked me.

I let out an exasperated smile. “I don't think you are referring to the one you play every night. I want to spice things up.” I chuckled a little.
