Chapter Thirty-eight: Liam And His Rival.

LIAM'S POV

I opened my eyes slowly, it was so bright and I could not open it too well. I turned to my side, and a little pain pierced me in the stomach. I was instantly alarmed and I struggled to sit up.

Immediately I began to try it, and I felt a hand hold my back. The person helped me sit up and I looked to see who it was. The kid smiled at me and I recognized him instantly. He was the boy who put me in this situation.

“Why are you here?” I almost yelled in surprise but the ache In my stomach stopped me.

“I'm sorry about that. I came to be sure you are okay?” He said with concern in his voice.

“Well am fine, you can see that so please go,” I said, upset. He was a reminder of my intense failure. Father told me I would fail and I did. It was such a piss-off.

He stood up to go but turned to me again.

“Why did you not dodge the attack? At least you should have used your hand. What were you doing when I came to you?” He asked with wonder in his voice.
