Where did he go? Why didn't he mention to her anything about his disappearance?

Those were the questions that crossed her mind but there was no one to tell her what was going on.

Alessandra stayed inside the guest room and waited for him until she fell asleep on the wooden vintage table, holding her cell phone in her hands so that she could hear from Ace in case he called.

Her eyes were swollen from crying too much and her lips were scorched.

Alessandra blinked her heavy eyelids softly to get rid of the blurry vision. Her eyes were sore because of crying tears the previous night.

A deep frown settled on her features when she realised that she was sleeping on the queen-sized bed.

"Ace..."She called her mate's name when she recalled that he was missing the previous night before she fell asleep.

Ales listened to the surroundings carefully,she heard water splash and she could tell someone was taking a bath. She closed her eyes slightly and a sigh of relief escaped from her lips.

After a
