Since Kate left to go fetch her passport, Liam have been peeping out the window from his room from time to time.
They weren't back yet? Didn't she say she was getting her passport; did she go to bring her whole house?
He shifted his gaze to the phone in his hands, contemplating whether to call them, but just when he was about to call, he saw their car driving towards the house and he closed the curtains.
Kate stepped out of the car and walked into the house; her eyes glanced briefly at the stairs but she figured she should just sleep; it was already late; she shouldn't disturb him.
She quickly retired to bed as soon as she got to her room.
