The beeping of his phone got him out of his thoughts. He lazily picked his phone from the table and checked the message.

The message is from Juliana, she reminded him of her birthday party.

He felt distressed as he touched his temple, closed his eyes and relaxed his back on his office seat which he's sitting on.

He had already promised Juliana to be at her birthday party, if not… he doesn't think he has the strength to be there. His mind had been wandering through a lot since morning and it got him distressed. Also, he has got himself worked up by handling so much work in a day all in the name of trying to stop thinking about his little wife but still yet, he couldn't.
