He hardly completed the sentence when his phone rang.

“Who could this be?”

He grumbled before he picked up his phone. Then, he sat upright before he jolted forward when he saw the caller.

“The IG!”

He exclaimed and punched on the receive switch.

“Good evening, Sir.”

He greeted nervously.

“Good evening, Hallie. I wish to inform you that there is the need to beef up security at the Residential Area of the Blue Sea Oil and Gas Group and its environs. I have a meeting with the Chief Accountant tomorrow morning and I would not like anything to disrupt that.”

Now, the IG paused and waited for him to comment, but he was mute. Then, he continued.

“Hallie, are you there?”

The Commissioner, who was lost in thought, shook his head, to assure himself that he was not dreaming, and responded.

“Yes. I'm with you, boss.”

“Good. Presently, he is inviolable, and I give my approval for his immunity. I will inform the EFCC Head. Ensure that no agency infringes
