SALVADOR’S POV

“Any news?” I questioned, my ears aching to hear something positive ….. at least for the first time in so long.

“I am sorry,” He let out a sigh. “We could not get anything but give me some time, we are really close to finding her.”

Just like I had expected, it was something negative again. I walked out of the room and headed to Antonella’s room. There was definitely some other information that she had that could be of help. I had to ensure there was nothing else she was hiding. I placed a knock on her door but when I couldn’t hear her response for the umpteenth time, I pushed it open.

She was not on her bed and it got me a bit relieved. I had begun to imagine several things but I pushed the thoughts away.

“Antonella!” I called out to her but there was no response. I arched my brows as I had not expected to be answered by silence. No. she could definitely not have escaped.
