CHAD’S POV

Amber didn’t look very good and although she said that she was just tired and hungry, I was worried that it might have been something a little more than that. She didn’t look hungry but rather looked like she was coming down with some kind of sickness. I wondered if they had given her something or some kind of drug before I arrived but she said they did no such thing. She said that they didn’t give her anything to eat nor drink and this worried me even further.

What made things worse right now was the fact that she was now obsessing and worrying about the well-being of these vampires that were left behind. I felt like this wasn't her problem and she was worrying herself about something that somebody else had to handle. These vampires were not her problem and I just needed her to understand that. We were now going around and collecting the dead bodies that were lying around, both vampires and werewolves. Jeff had already started a huge fire and we were throwing them in the
