CAIN’S POV3Even if my father refused to admit it, he knew that Amber had been gone longer than he had anticipated her to be. AMBER’S POV I couldn’t bear the thought of placing everyone else in danger all because of me and the decisions that I had made. I had chosen to join the vampire coven and I had chosen to come here as a spy for them, I couldn’t risk the lives of the very people that I had intended to kill. I couldn’t even celebrate my father’s death because I was now so worried about the new threat that had been made against my life. I wanted to confront Natasha and ask her why she had chosen to betray the king that she had claimed to love so much but I decided to let her be because the perfect person to confront her about that was Chad. AMBER’S POV After I got out of the royal City I went back to the location where I had found my bike wondering if it was still there and to my surprise it was. They really meant it when they said there was little to no crime in the royal city. Although I hadn’t left my bike in the royal city territory. I picked up my bike and another miracle happened, the bike was actually still working. I don’t know why I expected it to not be working but I had just left it out here for so long that I didn’t expect it to have any life in it. Seeing it come to life was a miracle and it reminded me of my love for fast vehicles. I couldn't explore that passion while I was at the palace because I was always indoors. My thoughts of the life that I had left back at the palace made me realize that I was already missing Chad and that place.
