Alpha Darwin's POV

I strolled into the party and let my eyes roam around the room, taking in the festive ambiance. The sound of chatter and laughter filled the air as people milled about, enjoying the party. However, my attention was suddenly drawn to a commotion in the corner of the room. I shifted my gaze and saw Catherine, the last person I wanted to see, engrossed in a conversation with Darin.

She was smiling at him, her cheeks flushed with a hint of pink. I could see Darin enjoying her attention as he smiled back at her. A pang of irritation shot through me as I realized she had been invited to this party. Quickly, she looked away and nervously gulped her drink. I couldn't fathom why anyone would want her here. As I made my way toward my guests, I kept a wary eye on Catherine, hoping to avoid any interaction with her.
